As I start to write this, there are 10 days, 22 hours, 23 minutes and 52 seconds until the NFL draft (NFL.com tells me). The draft has long plagued Bills fans with blunderous picks by the front office that seem to make no sense in the present and far too often do not work out in the long run. Last year’s draft was the first in years that seemed to leave most fans not wanting to throw things at their tv’s and some experts even gave the Bills positive grades.
Looking over the numerous mock drafts available on the internet, there are two common positions that experts and other self proclaimed experts think that the Bills will focus on – Offensive Tackle and Wide Receiver. For offensive tackle, the Bills clearly need to fill the gap of the departed Demetrius Bell. Riley Reiff (Iowa) is the clear most popular pick, with a couple other sites mentioning Mike Adams (OSU). At receiver, Michael Floyd is the most common pick, although I, and many others, probably pray that Justin Blackmon (Oklahoma State) slips to number 10. I would be happy with either of these positions being filled with any of the previously mentioned players. Any other positions that you think we need to fill and/or players you think we should draft this April 26th?
